On the fertile slopes of Kenya’s central highlands, where deep red volcanic soil meets the cool mountain air of Mount Kenya, grows a coffee that blends technical precision with natural elegance. The Karindundu washing station, located at 1,700 meters above sea level, brings together generations of smallholder expertise and Kenya’s rich coffee processing heritage to craft a cup of radiant clarity and vibrant flavor.

This is more than just a coffee—it’s a pure expression of origin. Grown from the iconic varietals SL28, SL34, and Ruiru 11, and fully washed to highlight their distinctiveness, Kenya Karindundu reveals the full depth of its terroir with exceptional precision.

Flavour Profile

From the very first sip, this coffee unfolds like a refined musical composition:

Its structure is light yet layered, graceful and expressive. It shines in manual brewing methods like V60 or Kalita, where every nuance has room to bloom. Even in a light espresso, it surprises with juicy texture and floral lift.

Origin & Cultivation

Cultivated by smallholder farmers who selectively handpick only the ripest cherries, this coffee reflects both tradition and care. Every lot is the result of close attention to detail and deep respect for the land.

Processing

Fully Washed: The cherries are pulped, fermented, and washed using clean mountain water, then slowly dried on raised African beds. This method results in a cup of exceptional clarity, letting the vibrant acidity and varietal character take center stage.
