Barista Skills – Foundation
Duration: 7 hours (one day)

Learn the essential practical skills every barista needs behind the espresso bar, focusing on core techniques such as:
• Preparation of basic espresso-based drinks
• Proper cleaning procedures
• Basic customer service skills

About Panagiotis Nikas
Panagiotis Nikas is a Greek author and coffee trainer with over 30 years of experience in hospitality and barista education.
He holds the Coffee Diploma from the Specialty Coffee Association and is a certified Authorized SCA Trainer in Barista Skills and Brewing. He is also the founder of the Barista Academy Network and has trained hundreds of professionals.
As an author, he has published books such as The Handbook of Home Barista, Enjoy Coffee at Home, and the travel series Journey Through Coffee Origins (Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Brazil).
Combining hands-on experience, theoretical knowledge, and a deep passion for coffee culture, he actively participates in seminars and conferences in Greece and abroad.
